2023 Events

* Kids Krafts on Saturdays at 9am *not every Saturday/check calendar at Camp*

* Father's Day Ride is set for June 17, 2023 in memory of David C Belland! This ride is a fundraiser for scholarships for area Seniors entering a field of trade. There is a $5 entry fee and a BBQ dinner is served back at camp at the end of the ride. Door prizes are given out during the ride.

* HOBO Ride is October 14, 2023. Entry fee is a can of soup. We also collect food donations for the local food pantry. It's a fun ride with goofy door prizes given out along the way. At the end of the ride we come back to camp and combine the soups for HOBO soup. It looks horrible, but always is very yummy!

Trailside Hideaway Campground is open year around and is located on the Nicolet State Trail and the Rat River in the Nicolet National Forest. From there, you can enjoy your favorite trail activities: ATV/UTV, snowmobiling, walking/hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and much more. EASY TRAIL ACCESS.

Each campsite is spacious, private, wooded with a picnic table, and fire-pit. Sites 1-38 have both water and electric hook-up. There are 16 additional sites with water, electric, and sewer that are only available for yearly reservations. Self-registration is available for your convenience when you arrive (sorry, no credit cards). Play area for the kids and yard games for the adults are available for campers to use. A dump-station is available to utilize when exiting. The restrooms, shower house, and laundry room are extraordinary! WIFI is not available at the campground at this time. A group site is also available that will fit 3 to 5 campers nicely. Newly added in 2022 is a parking area and a 1.3 mile walking/biking trail. An eagle is hidden on the trail for people to find and re-hide for the next person. There is also a walking trail to the Rat River, with a picnic and sitting area by the river. It's a beautiful location for pictures. Yearly sites are limited, so always call ahead of time for availability. Yearly sites run from May 1 thru April 30 and you have access to your campsite year-round. Many campers come up during the winter months and stay in their camper and snowmobile. Camping at Trailside gives you unique opportunities that other campgrounds may not offer.
